本文介紹赴友人家中作客的基本句型，Sam與Melissa到David與Lisa家作客。 Lisa：Who is it? （是那位？） Sam：It's us. Melissa and Sam. （是我們，Melissa and Sam。） Lisa：Oh! Sam, Come in, Welcome! （哦，Sam 請進，歡迎。） Melissa：Thank you. Wow, What a sweet home. （謝謝你，哦！好甜蜜的家。） Sam：Good of you to have us. （謝謝你的邀請。） David：Welcome to our home. （歡迎來我們家。） Sam：Thank you. We're happy to be here. （謝謝你，我們很高興來此。） Lisa：Come into the living room everybody. （各位請到客廳來。） David：Take a seat, please. （請坐。） 在美國到他人家裡作客，需帶一份小禮物，禮物價格不需昂貴，卻需包裝精美，請看第二句型。 Melissa：Here is a gift from Sam and me. （這是Sam和我的一點小禮物。） Lisa：Oh, I like it! （哦！我喜歡。） Melissa：We thought you did. （我們想你會喜歡的。） Lisa：You shouldn't have. But I'm glad you did.
